欢迎使用 Etyma。本服务条款（以下简称「本条款」）是您与开发者 ByteLink（以下简称「我们」）之间，就您使用 Etyma 应用（以下简称「本应用」）所达成的协议。下载、安装或使用本应用，即表示您已阅读、理解并同意接受本条款的约束。

1. 使用许可

在您遵守本条款的前提下，我们授予您一项个人的、非商业的、不可转让、不可再许可、可撤销的有限许可，用于在您拥有或控制的 Apple 设备上使用本应用。

您不得：

  • 将本应用用于任何商业目的或对外提供服务；
  • 对本应用进行反编译、逆向工程、反汇编，或试图获取其源代码；
  • 抓取、批量复制、爬取或以任何方式系统性地导出本应用中的词源、释义等内容；
  • 将本应用内容再分发、转售、出版或公开传播。

2. 知识产权

本应用及其全部内容，包括但不限于词根、词缀、词源文案、释义、例句、界面设计、图标与商标，其知识产权均归我们或相应权利人所有，受著作权及相关法律保护。本条款未明确授予您的权利，我们均予以保留。

3. 内购条款

本应用提供一次性「永久解锁」内购（商品标识：com.bytelink.etyma.lifetime）：

  • 一次性买断：付费一次即可永久使用相应功能，并非订阅，不会自动续费。
  • 支付由 Apple 处理：所有交易通过 App Store 完成，我们不接触您的支付信息。
  • 退款：退款请求依据 Apple 的退款政策处理（通常为购买后 7 天内可向 Apple 申请），我们无法直接为您办理退款。
  • 恢复购买：更换设备或重装后，您可通过「恢复购买」功能凭同一 Apple ID 重新获得已购权益。

4. 内容免责声明

本应用提供的词源、词根分析与学习内容仅供学习参考。词源学是一门存在学术争议的学科，同一词汇的来源在不同辞书与学者之间可能存在不同解释。我们尽力保证内容准确，但不保证内容完全无误、完整或适用于任何特定目的。您不应将本应用内容作为权威学术、考试或专业依据，请以权威辞书为准。

5. 免责与责任限制

在适用法律允许的最大范围内，本应用按「现状」与「现有」基础提供，不附带任何明示或默示的担保。我们不对因使用或无法使用本应用而导致的任何间接、偶然、特殊或后果性损害承担责任。

6. 数据与备份

您在本应用中产生的数据仅存储于您的本地设备。删除应用可能导致这些数据丢失。您应自行负责备份重要数据。我们对本地数据的丢失不承担责任。

7. 条款变更

我们可能不时修订本条款。修订后的条款将发布在本页面并更新「生效日期」。在条款变更后继续使用本应用，即视为您接受修订后的条款。

8. 适用法律

本条款的解释与争议解决，适用您常住地或开发者所在地的有效法律，并应遵守适用的强制性消费者保护规定。涉及 App Store 的事项，同时受 Apple 相关条款约束。

Terms of Service

Welcome to Etyma. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and the developer ByteLink ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Etyma app (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License of Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control.

You may not:

  • use the App for any commercial purpose or to provide services to third parties;
  • decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App;
  • scrape, bulk-copy, crawl, or otherwise systematically extract the etymology, definitions, or other content within the App;
  • redistribute, resell, publish, or publicly disseminate the App's content.

2. Intellectual Property

The App and all of its content — including without limitation roots, affixes, etymology text, definitions, examples, interface design, icons, and trademarks — are owned by us or the respective rights holders and are protected by copyright and related laws. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved.

3. In-App Purchase Terms

The App offers a one-time "Lifetime Unlock" in-app purchase (product identifier: com.bytelink.etyma.lifetime):

  • One-time purchase: a single payment unlocks the corresponding features permanently. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
  • Payment handled by Apple: all transactions are completed through the App Store; we never touch your payment information.
  • Refunds: refund requests are governed by Apple's refund policy (typically requestable from Apple within 7 days of purchase). We cannot process refunds directly.
  • Restore Purchases: after switching or reinstalling on a device, you can regain your purchased entitlement via "Restore Purchases" using the same Apple ID.

4. Content Disclaimer

The etymology, root analysis, and learning content provided in the App is for study reference only. Etymology is a field subject to scholarly debate, and the origin of a given word may be explained differently across dictionaries and scholars. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the content is entirely free of error, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You should not rely on the App's content as an authoritative academic, examination, or professional source; please defer to authoritative reference works.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

6. Data & Backups

Data you create in the App is stored only on your local device. Deleting the App may result in the loss of this data. You are responsible for backing up important data. We are not liable for any loss of local data.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

The interpretation of and any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of your place of residence or the developer's jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that apply. Matters concerning the App Store are additionally subject to Apple's relevant terms.
